Vacaville Ice Sports has earned the top spot at the 2016 ISI Adult Championships, and the Sacred Heart University team has once again claimed the collegiate team trophy.

The 18th annual event took place Nov. 18-20 at Sharks Ice at San Jose,  the largest ice skating facility in California. Competitors represented 19 rink teams from seven states. Connie Curry, 77,  of Sharks Ice at San Jose was the oldest participant.

Second through fifth-place finishers included: Oakland Ice Center, Sharks Ice at San Jose, Stephen C West Ice Arena and SC of Greater Youngstown.

ISI Adult Championships offers adult skaters, ages 18 and up, the opportunity to compete in a fun environment and forge friendships based on a shared love of the sport. Join us at next year’s event, scheduled Oct. 27-29 at RDV Sportsplex Ice Den in Orlando.
