Congrats to Tampa Bay Skating Academy – Countryside, overall winner (with 361.5 team points) of the 2017 ISI Holiday Challenge, held Oct. 27-29. RDV Sportsplex Ice Den, host of the event, took 2nd place with 315.5 points and Arkansas Skatium earned the 3rd place spot with 227 points.

Fourteen rink teams from seven states participated in the annual competition that featured 300 competitors and over 1,000 individual and team performances. The oldest skater was Rae Brooks, 68, of Skating Club of Greater Youngstown. Chloe Capouellez of Skating Club of Johnstown and Leona Willingham of TBSA Countryside, both 3 years old, were the youngest skaters.

Ice Station Valencia, Calif, traveled the farthest to compete — 2,219 miles!
